Wrapt Films finds new and powerful ways to tell the stories that need to be heard the most. We have decades of experience in this field and are passionate about using moving image content to make a difference. Big issues deserve big ideas.
In the case of this first film we travelled to Nepal to support a tiny charity making a big impact after the earthquake. The resulting short, with its innovative use of close circuit camera footage caused a real stir and was screened on CNN and ABC in the US. The film created profile and a lot of emotion at a celebrity fundraiser, so they all dug deep and saved lives.
We also make films at reduced rates for more established charities. This charity needed to take a very serious issue and create something inspiring rather than depressing. Lively heartfelt interviews, bold colours, some clever post production and, as this second film shows, what you get is engagement.
Finally, this film was made for a commercial client. When a big firm makes the effort to really engage with an issue, we believe that this should be recognised. And because a firm, not a charity is paying, the production values can be impressive.The challenge here was to show the joy this project was bringing to the lives of disabled children without patronising them.
